An officially supported native V-Ray for Blender version on Linux
Please consider adding an officially supported native V-Ray for Blender version on Linux.
Linux is widely used in professional production pipelines, but the lack of V-Ray support forces many artists to stay on Windows despite preferring Linux for stability, performance, and system control. I personally would switch to Linux immediately if V-Ray were available there.
Supporting Linux would expand V-Ray’s professional reach, strengthen its position in studio and technical environments, and remove one of the last major blockers for Linux adoption in high-end 3D workflows.
Hi, I'm also waiting for a linux release to purchase. I've been using Blender in Linux since 2015, mainly because linux manages a lot better the resources of the hardware, blender crashes a lot less and it renders faster.
So yeah. as soon as it available, I'll get a suscription. I feel that Linux is the way to go for professionals.. Specially after the mess Microsoft did with windows 11.
