As an alternative to or in addition to VRayCryptomatte's “Show preview when selected” function, would it be possible to display previews in an easier-to-see way, i.e. a color overlay on the selected mask(s)?
I've prepared an image to illustrate the principle I'm talking about.
PS : the color doesn't matter here, it's the idea that matters.
