Hi just checking on this idea. Please provide a better description considering my previous comment. Thanks.
Why would you like to adjust the DoF as a postrender effect? How do you intend to use it with a DoF produced by the camera? And what do you expect the outcome to be? How do you want to use it for animations? Using it as a post effect could produce inaccurate results in reflections, and refractions. What kind of controls would you like to have?
