The online platform for V-Ray users to submit, vote, and collaborate on creative suggestions.
To improve my workflow, a standalone version of VFB would be perfect.
A request was made for a Vantage to VFB export function (which I voted for), which I think is an excellent idea.
An idea that would go very well with a stand-alone VFB.
I know it's already been requested and considered internally, but I'm putting it back here.
Who knows?
In the meantime, I've been using the VFB in standalone mode this way:
Download this: CLICK
Unzip the .bat file and .scene file in C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\ApplicationPlugins\VRay3dsMax20XX\bin
Run the .bat file to start the VFB (you can create a shortcut to it on your desktop for instance)
But native support would be nice ofcourse. So technically it's there.
I second the idea of having vrimg to exr and denoise.exe in one complete application, with various later export options and formats.
Also add tools like the vrimg to exr and vdenoise.exe directly in the VFB.
