Redesign the VFB history display

I find the VFB's history column to be very clunky in implementation. The thumbnails resize awkwardly when the column width is adjusted, sometimes they stack sometimes they fall into a row depending on how wide it is. Please have them remain in a consistent layout. Also, the meta data is hidden unless you mouseover, and this itself gets messed up and moved around depending on how wide the column is being displayed. Sometimes it's almost illegible because of this. It would be nice to see a cleaner implementation with the option to have metadata permanently displayed for ease of comparing e.g. render times during lighting and lookdev.

I can't see how to close it, but go ahead.

Please let us know if the provided solutions fit the desired workflow. As we already have a solution for most of the things, probably this idea will have to be altered or removed. Thank you.

Hi, there are some settings that you could use in our VFB setting window. Let us know if these are working for you.

    Heyya
If I understand you correctly, these are two(?) ideas
    1. Having the thumbnails not resize
    2. Have an option for the rendering information to be always visible not just on mouseover in the history.

Would you mind splitting these two ideas up and posting them separately so it's more concise?
    Some additional questions
    1. - Are you looking for the thumbs to not resize at all or just not restack? What would you prefer to happen when resizing the history window. If you're describing a bug, perhaps a video/image would be handy
    2. - Would something like a setting in the VFB settings work for you? Do you want all the information you see on mouseover to be displayed or do you want more control (e.g. chose specifically just render time, or just name, size, etc) Do you want extra information that is in the regular metadata but not usually in the VFB to be shown?

Clarifying these would clean up the concept both for us and for other users who might want to vote up you idea :)
    Thanks in advance!
