It would be very useful if we had support for hierarchies (pick a parent and the children will be added automatically) and layers in include/exclude lists. Picking lists by picking explicit objects is very cumbersome and doesn't adjust to scene changes at all.
This is improved in V-Ray7, Update 2,now you can include or exclude layers and IDs withing the VRayLight.
