vfb image filtering

when zoomed out to view an entire high resolution image in photoshop, the pixels are interpolated so the image always looks clean. In the VFB no filtering is applied, so when we zoom out to view a whole high resolution image, it becomes quite illegible in noisy areas. The only way to assess the image properly is to zoom in to 100% which obviously only allows viewing a small part at a time. it would be good to have an option to apply filtering similar to photoshop.
