Ability to save Single-Layer EXR with DWAA compression.

Pursuing of ability to choose the best workflow for different heavy tasks and situations of our Workflow. I would strongly recommend giving us the ability to change the output of 32-bit EXR like Single-Layerd EXR with different compression - especially DWAA
I imagine that this option could be implemented via VrayOptionRE render element, where we have all other bunch of settings for the EXR output.
Since this DWAA compression is not presented in the 3DS MAX output, I want to encourage you to implement those options for Single Layered EXR with DWAA compression handling it via VRay features.
I cannot see that this is a completely new feature for Vray, as you already have that option in your stand-alone tool .vrimg to .exr.
Are there any options to implement it via OptionRE or somehow?

    Dear Vlado,

Thank you for joining here with this suggestion.

We would love to have all of these options currently available in your tool (vrimg2exr) implemented directly into the VrayOptionRE render element. This would help us skip the additional step and time-consuming conversion process when single-layer EXR files are necessary to switch easily in certain workflows and post-prod processes.

My request aims to integrate the following functionalities into VrayOptionRE, if possible:

    1. Support output settings as multi-layer and single-layer EXR.

    2. DWAA/B compression options for both versions (single-layer and multi-layer).

    3. The ability to organize single-layer EXR files into subfolders.

    4. Save the Cryptomatte as a single + metadata file, especially when it was saved in the original multi-layer format.
If this request is too great and impossible, the new feature in the last update of a separating Cryptomate file will be used permanently.

Thank you for considering this request.

Would it work for you if we added an option to use the V-Ray OpenEXR saving code (the same that we use for example with the vimg2exr tool) instead of the 3ds Max saving code? In that case, the VRayOptionRE settings will apply as they do for the multi-layer saving.
