The ScatterVolume material is available in V-Ray for Max. The request here is to expose the same shader in V-Ray for SketchUp.
And what I explained in my previous comment is that the standard V-Ray material can be configured to work like the Scatter Volume. We just need to expose the directional illumination mode which is in fact planned for one of our next releases.
We're planning to expose the Directional Illumination option in the V-Ray Material, which changes how Translucency is calculated. This will make the V-Ray Material fog behave exactly like the Scatter Volume Material in 3ds Max.

Vray already has this material.... or what do u mean by VrayScatterVolume?
