VFB selecting objects - Improve this workflow with highlighting of objects Merged

In the VFB we have the option to select objects. BUT when you are in this mode the user especially newcomers they do not really see what is going on. By highlighting the objects in VFB that would help allot to visually see that they are in this mode and that they also have feedback of which objects is currently selected. An example of Arnold works really well.
In the image you can see the object that is selected is highlighted in the VFB.
